The circulation of Banff Resort Guide is 30,000 copies. All are distributed free of charge.
This publication targets vacationers on one to two week ski holidays. Most are British, although Canadians, Germans, Australians, Americans (and others) also get copies.
Most Banff Resort Guides are distributed one at a time by ski vacation tour companies to their clients. Distribution occurs primarily at Calgary International Airport through “Welcome to Banff” orientation packages.
Five customized editions are given to customers of:
- Thomson, Crystal and Crystal the Finest
- Airtours and Neilson
- Ingahms
- Sundog Tours
- Banff Airporter
- smaller tour companies such as Stumbock, Ski Independence, Skican and Brewster
- high profile Banff locations such as the Information Centre, Banff Gondola, Upper Hot Springs and The Fairmont Banff Springs hotel through magazine racks.
