Banff Resort Guide was first produced in the winter of 1999-2000 for three of the major British Tour Companies. Today the resort guides are produced for all six of the major tour companies. Additional distribution has also been secured from the Banff Airporter, Sun Dog Tours, Brewster, Stumbock, Jonview Canada. The same guide will also be distributed around Banff at prominent locations.

Design
The Banff Resort Guide is produced for the distributing companies and has a custom cover and inside cover for their unique design. The core of the guide is the same for each company. Our Resort Guide is designed to provide the information that the readers want. We include trail maps for all the ski areas, bus times for the ski areas as well as the local bus service. Information is provided that the readers require for their whole stay and they will therefore keep referring back to the Guide Book. The size of the Resort Guide is 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”.

Distribution
For this winter we will be increasing our distribution of the Resort Guide to over 25,000 copies. 75% of the Resort Guides are distributed directly by tour companies the remaining 25% are distributed at 20 prime locations around Banff. The British Tour Companies include our Guide Book inside their Welcome Packages which are given to all guests as they arrive at Calgary Airport. This publication is the only guide book that is given to the guests.
